NCMS Presents 1st on First - Art + Music Walk
Once again, North Capitol Main Street is bringing its signature promotional event back to the community to promote the neighborhoods of the North Capitol Area as a great place to live and do business.
From 12 Noon to 4:00 pm, August 7th -- the first Saturday -- along First Street, from Florida to Rhode Island Avenue, you'll find cutting edge art installations from local artists. There'll be music entertainment from end to end, something for the kids and a great time to enjoy.
Take a look at what's happening below and we'll see you on Saturday!

Now, that's interesting. . .
To top it off, we'll have a local artist market where you can actually stop and shop and buy!
Brendan Smith has supplied this link for a preview of his work!
And Music Too . . .
The Music Part
Cool, sweet sounds . . .
When it comes to great music and a fun, relaxing atmosphere there'll be plenty. Hang out at the Big Bear or Windows and take in the incredible music potpourri brought to you by Pep Rally for Peace.
. . . hey, we'll make sure the
First Street Park is clean to spread a blanket, pop a cork, read a book . . .
And Fun . . .
What's this "Art Hunt" about, anyway?
You'll have to participate to find out. All we'll say is: Free Stuff.
