NORTH CAPITOL MAIN STREET SEEKS OFFICIAL MAIN STREET DESIGNATIONJuly 14, 2008 This is to announce our bid to become a certified DC Main Streets program!
On July 31, 2008, NCMS Inc. will submit an application to the DC Department
of Small and Local Business Development to be certified as a member of
the DC Main Streets ("DCMS") program. Benefits of certification as a member of DCMS include access to funding to bolster ongoing programs that support existing businesses and attract new enterprises to the commercial business district along North Capitol Street and First Street. We're asking ANC Commissioners, business and property owners and community-based
organizations to endorse North Capitol Main Street Inc.'s bid to become a
certified DC Main Street organization!
